Gawz is a dance entertainment company that provides dancers and choreography for your advertising to engage your target audience and elevate your brand image.
So how did it all begin? Gawz was founded in 2013 by dancer and choreographer Tarek Khwiss, and it first came about as a movement to connect and unify the dance industry, creating a supportive environment for people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds. It was then that Tarek felt the industry needed more positivity and connection and so, taking a hand symbol from his choreography at the time, images were soon posted on social media from Spain, New York, Italy and more places the world over, to connect these dancers globally and bring them together in a fun and supportive environment.
This symbol is the Gawz logo, which embraces strength, connection and empowerment through dance.
Fast forward four years and this movement has naturally emerged as a new and exciting London dance entertainment company which brings a confidently energetic, sassy and bold attitude to the dance community!
But why another dance agency? In such a saturated and complex market, this is certainly in the top 3 of questions we get asked. The bottom line is the values that Gawz stands for and the disruptive positivity it is bringing about through change. Seeking to break the mold of what it means to be a dancer, and openly talking about and breaking down any issues in the dance industry and in the world around us. We feel that change needs to happen and positivity, support, the right attitude and diversity is key to innovation.
More can be done to reflect society’s real diversity in the media today - and that’s what cutting-edge choreography offers - a chance for the advertiser to reach out to a real audience, capture their imagination and in doing so elevate their brand stature in the minds of the viewer by doing or being something or someone inspirational.
